Led by the Cretan lyra, Antonis Leontidis and his trio present an evening that blends concert and workshop around Cretan music and dance traditions.
Antonis Leontidis is a Cretan musician and composer, trained in the lyra tradition from an early age. The concert combines both traditional and contemporary pieces from Crete, creating a vibrant and personal musical narrative.
He is joined by percussionist Haris Bakkas and Cretan lute player Dimitris Kokolakis.
Leontidis offers a contemporary perspective on a deep and evolving tradition. The concert is presented within the framework of Labyrinth Catalunya and will include a short Cretan dance workshop led by the Passaltpas association before the performance.
