How is the festival funded?
Labyrinth Festival Catalunya is a self-managed project funded mainly through seminar tuition fees and made possible, to a large extent, by the voluntary effort of the organizing team.
Our aim is to make the festival accessible to as many people as possible. We believe that culture and education should be within everyone’s reach, while at the same time ensuring fair pay for our teachers and team.
That is why this year we are once again proposing a responsible pricing model based on each participant’s financial circumstances. We hope this approach encourages fairness and accessibility, allowing people with fewer resources to attend while ensuring the project’s sustainability.
Prices
The festival price is made up of two parts: the seminar and accommodation + meals. If you prefer a split payment, you can pay the seminar fee within the first 15 days to reserve your place, and the accommodation and meals up to 30 days after registration. You will find the payment policy HERE.
The most common option: standard seminar (330 €) + shared dormitory with all meals (375 €) = 705 € in total.
From there, you can adjust according to your budget and preferences:
- Seminar: 280 €, 330 € or 400 €, depending on your possibilities.
- Accommodation and meals (5 nights, full board): from 290 € to 475 €, depending on the type of accommodation.
- It is also possible to join without staying overnight at La Plana, booking meals only.
We encourage you to choose the full accommodation option: a large part of the festival happens outside the classes, during the breaks, the meals and the shared time together.
There are four prices. You can choose the one that best suits your budget.
More information about the seminar prices
- 280 € · The Minimum Price: just barely covers the cost of the course. Nothing less, nothing more.
- 330 € · The Standard Price: besides the teachers, you contribute to the organisation of the festival. This is the sustainable and recommended option.
- 400 € · Pay it Forward: besides supporting the festival, you help pay for the course of someone who cannot afford it. What more could we ask?
- 560 € · Sponsor a Musician: with this contribution you directly fund a place for a musician who wants to come to the festival but cannot afford it and has applied for a scholarship. We’ll let you know who you’ve sponsored and, if you wish, we’ll mention you as a patron of the project on our website.
The festival lasts 5 nights: from Tuesday 20 October at 5 pm until Sunday 25 October after lunch. All prices with accommodation include full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Options with accommodation (price per person per night · total for 5 nights):
- Own campervan + meals: 58 € / night · total: 290 €
- Shared dormitory + meals: 75 € / night · total: 375 €
- Shared room for 6 people + meals: 75 € / night · total: 375 €
- Shared room for 4 people + meals: 85 € / night · total: 425 €
- Shared room for 2 people + meals: 95 € / night · total: 475 €
The shared dormitory is a spacious area organised in sections of 4 bunk beds, so the experience is very similar to that of a shared room, which is why it has the same price as the room for 6.
Options without accommodation (price per person per day):
- 1 meal a day only: 35 €
- All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner): 54 €
