All seminars consist of 30 hours of workshop, spread over 6 hours each day (5 days):
For this year there is an important change in the prices policy in Labyrinth Catalunya: We will not have an early bird registration, nor different prices depending on the time when you register. Instead of that, there will be different prices that will reflect different economic possibilities that the participants might have, as well as the real needs and situation of the festival.
For this we have adopted an income-based pricing or “pay-what-you-can” model. There are various reasons for this. We hope that this pricing system will allow individuals to pay based on their financial circumstances, ensuring that people from different countries with different economic realities can access the festival, classes and concerts. This approach promotes fairness, equity, and accessibility, while also helping the festival generate revenue from those who can afford to pay more, something which is greatly needed.
Since the first seminars in 2003 a standard policy of Labyrinth in Crete has been to have a – as low as possible – price, in order to be accessible to as much as many people. But it is also a reality that for our team, here in Spain, it’s not realistic to sustain a festival the workload of which runs more or less for 10 months every year, with such a low cost as we had had for the last years. We are receiving funds from the local governments and occasional EU programs but the reality is that this funding is not enough. Added to the general difficulties everyone is aware of the rising cost of living standards and the rate of inflation in recent years. So in order to achieve a sustainable festival and to be able to pay the teachers and the team decent living wages, this is the pricing model which we will use this year as well as a donation page that will be open during the whole year. (more info here)
We are providing the three following prices. You can choose what you want to pay, depending if you are a student, employed or unemployed, where you come from and how much you spend to travel to Spain or if you have a rich uncle that left you with everything! We will not ask for credentials or ask any questions about your choice 😉 We rely on your judgment and good faith:
Note that food, accommodation and transport costs are not included in this price of the seminar.
We are very happy to have Nuria Cuinetes’ services for the 2nd year in a row, a recognized chef who has accompanied several festivals and who will be taking care of us with her delicacies and local products.
The price of the food is 140 € for 5 days and it includes 3 meals per day. We will be sharing breakfast, lunch and dinner together, as one more way to expand the richness of exchange and coexistence.
Meals cannot be chosen by isolated days, it is a pack. Either you choose the 5 days or you choose to have your meals outside the festival.
You will have the opportunity to let us know your menu preferences, intolerances and any detail you need to communicate regarding the food.
You can arrange your own accommodation or we can accommodate you in a room in a neighbor’s house in the village:
ACCOMMODATION IN PRIVATE HOUSES WITH KITCHEN (shared with the hosts):
Shared rooms (single bed) or double rooms (double bed): 18€/ night / person
Single rooms: 22€ euros / night / person
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Labyrinth can provide accommodation from the night before the beginning of the seminars until the night of the last day of class. If you need additional nights, please let us know. We will do our best to help you, but we cannot guarantee it.
You will be able to choose the option you want while filling the form. Please keep in mind that this will be subject to bed availability. We will contact you to share the options we found and arrange all the details.
