Nikos Papaioannou was born in Athens in 1991. He was graduated in music from the Music School Alimou of Athens and has a diploma in cello performance from the Attico Conservatory of Athens with Professor Marina Kislitsina. From his early age he entered the paths of several traditional instruments as the oud, the lute or the saz, playing various genres from the musics the Mediterranean region studying cello with Ugur Isik, oud with Yurdal Tokcan and Nasheer Shamma.

He is actively involved in recordings & concerts in around Greece and Europe collaborating with a wide range of bands and artists a Lemonostifel, Petros Malamas, Giorgos Papaioannou, Melina Kana and others.
