Singing the traditional music of the Iberian Peninsula. Isabel Martín

In this workshop we will learn songs, vocal technique and ornamentation belonging to the diverse repertoire of the Iberian Peninsula according to its geography. We will study the different singing traditions from its rhythmic, context and melodic development, approaching the oldest styles, and their evolution.

We will also have the opportunity to experience the traditional way of accompanying some of these songs with basic frame drumming.
